Rodney Phipps

Rodney has pursued an entrepreneurial life in several industries, highly creative, analytical and forward thinking has always been his strengths.Rodney has been immersed in music since the age of four, and his lifelong passion for the art form led to the founding of Phaymis Inc in 2013. This artist management and development company is dedicated to treating the arts with the professionalism and rigor of a business.As a result, Rodney has brought his talent to the TOP 40 Canadian Country radio charts, coordinated coast to coast radio and performance tours, negotiated recording and publishing deals and has an extensive cross border network.With additional experience in hospitality, business development and the Calgary start-up community, growth is a passion!Rodney has personally invested in various facets of real estate for over 20 years across three provinces, utilizing strategies including preconstruction, long-term buy and hold, infill development, and renovations. Most recently, he became the COO of WealthShare.

Monique Verlaan

Monique is the co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of WealthShare and its affiliated companies.She is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in both Canada and South Africa, holding a Master's Degree in Business Leadership and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Science from UNISA.In her role, Monique oversees all financial activities at WealthShare, including controllership, tax, treasury, financial analysis, investor relations, and overall financial operations.With over 25 years of experience in finance and management, Monique has held executive leadership positions in utility and real estate investment companies, bringing a wealth of expertise to WealthShare.
